I'm pleased to have found you here! You write so beautifully. This resonated with me, since I have not only been pondering the same thing about how new experiences are important for inspiration, but because I love using music for inspiration as well. When I was a teenager writing my first novels, I often borrowed my parents' two-record set of the Nutcracker Suite (on vinyl!) and put it on my bedroom turntable as background music. Even if it was not wintertime. So to this day, to me, the Nutcracker is good inspiration music rather than Christmas music. :)

Hi Molly, I'm a big fan of Somiah as well. I wrote something about when I was a kid. The Nutcracker Suite plays a big part in it. Check it out if you'd like. Wes

What a lovely memory! I’m glad the GI Joe was found and properly got to the recipient. 😊

I love your poem! Yes there’s definitely something about classical music! I never thought I would ever enjoy listening to it but you just have to find ones that resonate with you! I’m impressed how classical music inspires you to write more than anything else!
